The 5000 seems a little better, but the truth is, Dell hasn't made a truly good laptop since the 6430U, circa 2013. Hey all, I do end user IT for my organization and once or twice a month, a user's Dell Command Update application will become unresponsive. Mac recognizes that it is plugged into an external display (I think) but the Dell does not change from its own windows computer screen. TLDR; Dell has some lineups that are good quality, some areas of their support are good (enterprise/if you pay a ton), but their software is making the experience of using the machines kinda awful. . Basically, it will identify the 2 extra monitors I have plugged in (as seen above), but it won't display anything on the screen.
